I hope you have all had a good Easter and your expeditions haven't been too uncomfortably cold. This is just a short update with 2 topics;

Free place on DofE expedition programme

We have one free place to give away to an individual on a low income on our full 10 day gold expedition programme.

 To qualify you must fulfil one of the following criteria;

  • In receipt of the Job seekers allowance or working tax credits
  • Live in a household that is in receipt of Housing Benefit or Local Housing Allowance
  • Live in local authority care or have left local authority care in the last 24 months
  • Working over 18 hours a week in a voluntary position in a socially or environmentally useful project

Level 3 in Basic Expedition Leadership (BEL) - 28 May to 2 June 2016

The Level 3 Certificate in Basic Expedition Leadership (BEL) is a nationally recognised qualification that trains and qualifies teachers, youth workers and others to lead people on overnight expeditions in lowland countryside.

We are running a 6 day training course from Malham Tarn Field Studies Centre on 28th May to 2 June 2016 on which we still have some spaces.

The cost of the course is £380 but we can arrange your accommodation as well if you wish.
