Walking Holidays - What to bring
All of our holidays are in mountainous areas of Scotland. In order to maximise your safety and comfort you are advised to pack the following.
Essential Kit
Full set of waterproofs (jacket and trousers)
Whistle
Walking Boots
Hat
Gloves
Walking Socks
Small Rucksack
Sunscreen
Midge repellent
Warm Jacket or jumper
In addition you may wish to bring
GaitersBinoculars
Waterproof Socks
Walking Poles
Technical fabrics (Wicking T-shirts, available from outdoor shops provide a more comfortable option than cotton)
Your guide will carry...
... a vast array of equipment, most of which for emergency use only but it will include.
Maps
Compasses
Group Shelter
A spare set of warm clothes
First Aid Kit
Rope
Thermarest Roll Mat
Sleeping bag or down jacket
Survival Bag.
