What is included?
The holidays are pretty much all inclusive. Once we've picked you up, we sort out the accommodation, the food and the transport. You can buy your own alcohol, fags and postcards though.
How many people are going to be on this holiday?
At any time you can phone up to check how many people are booked onto the holiday. Maximum numbers are often shown on the specific holiday page in the 'notes' panel on the right. We will run holidays with between 2 and 8 people.
How fit do I have to be?
This depends on the holiday, though a reasonable level of fitness is required. If you would like to talk about your experience to see if you are suitable for the holidays then please get in touch . We are able to tailor the holiday to the group, especially as we have two Mountain Leaders on each trip. As such, if there is a great discrepancy of ability within the group we are in a good position to accommodate the aspirations of the whole group by splitting into two teams. One team may wish to take in a short coastal walk incorporating otter watching whilst another might be out on a long day in the hills.
Can I bring my Children?
Yes you can.
I'm coming on my own, is there a single person supplement?
No there isn't but you may be requested to share a twin room. If necessary we will contact you about this before hand.
I want to book a place, how do I do it?
Drop us an e-mail to register your interest. We will then contact you with more information. A deposit of £100 per person will be required. The balance will be due 42 days before the start of your holiday.
I've paid but I've broken my ankle / the gerbil died / it's raining, can I have my money back?
Well, you can have some back, let us know as soon as possible that you want to cancel. Our official line is that deposits are non-refundable, however exceptions will be made under certain circumstances. Basically, get in touch as soon as possible and we'll sort something out. We're not in the business of ripping anyone off.
What equipment do I have to bring?
We have a page dedicated to this, it can be found here.
I'm allergic to tomatoes (insert any foodstuff you want in place of tomatoes) can you accommodate?
Almost certainly, many of our friends are allergic/intolerant to one food stuff or another, so we're used to it.
I'm vegan, is that a problem?
No. We plan to cook tasty and nutritious food that everyone can enjoy. Have a look at our food policy and sample menus page.
I'm a trained but not qualified Mountain Leader, can I tag along for some experience?
Yes you can, take a look at this page
