Viva! 15 Peak Challenge 2010
On July 3 2010 supporters and members of Viva! (Vegetarians International Voice for Animals) will be attempting the Welsh 3000's - 15 Peak Challenge. Starting at Pen-y-pass and climbing the Crib Goch ridge first, they aim to finish in under 24 hours and climb all 15 Welsh mountains over 3000 feet high.
In total they will walk 48km (30 miles) and ascend nearly 4000 metres (13 000 feet).The following are the 15 peaks involved in the challenge: Crib Goch, Crib y Ddysgl, Snowdon, Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach, Tryfan, Pen yr Ole Wen, Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewelyn, Yr Elen, Foel Grach, Garnedd Uchaf and Foel-fras. Mountain Leadership and safety management is being provided by Lupine Adventure.

There are currently 3 places left on this event. If you would like to take part then fill in a booking form and we will be in touch regarding payment and to get you up to speed with what is planned. You will be required to take part in a training day where we will complete the Yorkshire 3 peaks on Saturday 8th April 2010.
