The Bob Graham Round
Region: The Lake District
The Challenge: To complete Bob Graham's circuit of 42 Lakeland summits in 24 hours. (We also run this as a multi-day event).
Distance: approx 70 miles
This is the route with which, in 1936, Bob Graham set the record for the most Lakeland Peaks climbed in 24 hours. a record which remained unbeaten until the 1960s.To complete the Bob Graham round in 24 hours is a serious fell running challenge suitable only for the extremely fit. For the merely very-fit we also offer this as a multi day walking event with a choice of spending the nights in tents on the hills or in hostels in the valleys.
