We run two sorts of Open Award programmes.
Firstly, we run full open programs including training, practice expedition and qualifying expedition. For more information about our 2010 program go down to the bottom of this page.
Secondly, If you have engaged in expedition training and practice but have not completed a qualifying expedition you may need to find others to do the expedition with. You could take part in one of our open award expeditions. People sometimes have to drop out of their original expedition teams due to Injury, illness, family pressures etc. If you are trained and need to join with others to complete an expedition then read on.
We will be running Silver and Gold, qualifying expeditions in 2009 in the Yorkshire Dales.
These expeditions include no training. They are designed for individuals who, for whatever reason, could not complete their qualifying expedition as planned. We will want to see proof that you have received training and completed a recent practice expedition.
