Welsh 3000's: 21 June 2014

Castell y Gwynt (castle-of-the-winds)

Prepare for the Longest Mountain Day of your life.

We have set the Open Welsh 3000's challenge for June 21st to make full use of the day light. We'll set off at 3 am and head up Snowdon by way of the knife edge arete of Crib Goch.

We staff this part of the course with a ratio of 1:3 to give the group the confidence to successfully tackle this rather extreme start to the day.  The whole route is about 30 miles with 13 000 ft of vertical assent and the aim is to complete it within 24 hours.

We swap leaders for each of the 3 sections to ensure that your leaders are fresh and able to deal with any situations that arise.

The cost is £199 per head.

For more information or to book please visit our Welsh 3000's page.

The Yorkshire 3 peaks: Various dates throughout the summer

We are running Yorkshire 3 peaks events on the following dates throughout the summer
26th July
9th August
20th September

The Yorkshire 3 peaks is a great route. It is 23 miles and takes in the 3 summits of Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. Some groups take the route on as a 12 hour challenge but the majority seem to complete in about 12 and a half hours.
