Lupine LogoHi Everyone

I hope you all had a great summer of expeditions and found time for a break somewhere in there. Our summer was awesome with more individuals getting their awards at all levels with us than ever before. We're looking forward to our quite time of year where we reflect on the previous year's expeditions and think about how we can improve things for 2018. We're intending on writing some of this learning up and posting it on our blog so we'll be in touch when this process has started.

In the meantime...

coursenotesUpdated Course Notes document

We give copies of our course notes document to every student that we train. It has slowly grown to 36 pages long and hasn't changed all that much over the last few years. A couple of years ago we added a page on gas Trangia use and this summer we have added to it as our experience of using them has grown.

The course notes document is number 1 on the list.

Open Gold Expedition 23-27 October 2017

We have an open gold expedition going out in the Yorkshire Dales 23-27th October 2017. If you have any young people who had to miss their expedition this year or had to drop out through illness or injury then please do tell them about it. Full details are available on our website.

Excel Green Form

Just to remind you that we created a copy of the green form on Excel last year. For those who still fill them in using Word take a look, it really is far easier and quicker in Excel. For example, you can add all your supervisors and assessors on a separate sheet then simpy cut and past those cells over the relevent ones in the green form.

The spreadsheet is available from our website, it is item 8 on the list.
