Outdoor education and recreation for young people and adults

We are a workers co-operative offering outdoor education and recreation to young people and adults. Our current range of activities falls into four main areas

1) Rock Climbing taster sessions and courses
2) Navigation Training weekends.
3) Duke of Edinburgh's Award provision
4) Sessional work around any of the above.

In addition to this we run vegetarian and vegan walking holidays in Scotland, guided walks, Mountain Leader cover for sponsored walks in the hills and volunteer with the woodcraft folk.

seashepherdIn June 2010 Lupine Adventure are providing Mountain Leader support to a group of Vegans in doing all 15 welsh mountains over 3000ft within 24 hours. The walk is about 48 km and involves nearly 4000 m of climbing.

One of the participants has set up a just giving page to raise money for the Sea Shepherd conservation society. For more information on the challenge go to the Vegan 15 peak challenge page of the site.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award - Approved Activity Provider

 

aapWe found out today (29/5/09) that we have been awarded the status of Approved Activity Provider for Expeditions by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. There are currently only 12 companies in the country who can claim this so we're extremely pleased to have been chosen.
